Standards & Principles

Editorial
Policy

This document defines the standards, principles and rules applied by the Experts Club editorial team in its journalistic work. The document is aligned with applicable law and the ethical codes of recognized journalism associations.

Last updated: January 2026.

Article 1

Independence and Impartiality

Experts Club is an independent media publication. Editorial policy is shaped exclusively by the editorial team, without interference from owners, advertisers, government bodies or any third party.

Commercial relationships (advertising, sponsorship, partnership) do not in any way influence the choice of topics, tone of reporting or the content of published articles. Every sponsored or paid content is clearly labeled as such.

Journalists and editors of Experts Club are required to report any potential conflict of interest. In the case of a conflict of interest, the journalist is excluded from working on that topic.

Article 2

Accuracy and Verification of Information

Every piece of information must be confirmed from at least two independent sources before publication, except in the case of direct statements from officials given to the editorial team, official documents or live broadcasts.

The source of information is notified of the intent to publish when possible. Anonymous sources are used only when necessary for source protection, with a clear note in the text that the source is anonymous and the reason for it.

Statistical data and financial indicators are taken exclusively from official and verified sources: national statistics bureaus, central banks, official company reports and international institutions (IMF, World Bank, Eurostat).

The editorial team does not publish unverified rumors, speculation or content that could cause harm without prior verification.

Article 3

Transparency and Authorship

Every article is signed by the author who takes responsibility for its content. Unsigned articles are labeled as 'Experts Club Editorial Team'.

The editorial team clearly separates news (factual reporting) from commentary and analysis (author's opinion). Comments and columns are clearly labeled as such.

Photos and illustrations are labeled with their source and author. The editorial team does not use photos without permission from the copyright holder.

Article 4

Protection of Dignity and Personal Rights

Experts Club respects the right to privacy, dignity and honor of every person in accordance with applicable law.

The name, photograph and personal data of minors are published only with the consent of the legal guardian and only when it is in the public interest.

The editorial team does not publish information that could endanger the lives or safety of individuals, nor information whose sole purpose is discrediting without factual basis.

The presumption of innocence is respected in all reports on criminal proceedings.

Article 5

Right of Reply and Request for Correction

Any natural or legal person who believes that an article published on Experts Club inaccurately or incompletely presents facts concerning them has the right to a response.

A request for a response or correction must be submitted in writing to the editorial team (editorial@expertsclub.com) within 30 days of publication.

The editorial team is obliged to publish the response or correction without delay, within 48 hours of receipt of a valid request, in the same or a prominent place on the site.

A detailed procedure and timelines are described in a separate document: Corrections & Clarifications.

Article 6

Protection Against Discrimination and Hate Speech

Experts Club advocates for the equality of all persons regardless of their national, ethnic, racial, religious or gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or any other personal characteristic.

The editorial team does not publish content that incites discrimination, hatred or violence towards any group or individual.

Journalists are required to use neutral language in reporting that does not stigmatize any group. Every complaint regarding discriminatory content is dealt with as a priority.

Article 7

Copyright and Content Licensing

All original content published on Experts Club — articles, photographs, graphics, analyses — is protected by copyright.

Quoting up to 150 words is permitted with mandatory citation of source and a visible link to the original article on Experts Club.

Reproduction of articles, photographs or other content beyond legally permitted limits without prior written consent constitutes copyright infringement.

For permission to reproduce content, contact editorial@expertsclub.com.

Article 8

Advertising and Sponsored Content

Paid, sponsored or branded content is clearly distinguished from editorial content with a visual marker of 'Sponsored', 'Paid Content' or 'Advertising'.

Advertisers have no influence over editorial decisions, topic coverage or article content that is not directly paid for.

The editorial team reserves the right to reject or remove any paid content that is contrary to editorial standards, applicable law or the public interest.

Article 9

Application and Responsibility

This editorial policy takes effect from the date of publication and is binding on all employees, freelancers and correspondents working with Experts Club.

The editor-in-chief of Experts Club is responsible for questions related to the application of this policy.

The editorial team reviews and updates this policy at least once a year or in the event of changes to relevant regulations.
